About VotersRise

VotersRise is a free, independent guide for voters in India.

Every election, people find out too late that their name is missing, or they are stuck in a city far from where they are registered. The official information exists, but it is spread across many websites and is hard to follow. We put the key steps in one place, in plain language, in every scheduled language of India.

Independent

We are not part of ECI or a political party. This site has no application forms or advertising. Submit voter applications on official ECI websites.

What we count

We count clicks on the buttons that open the official Form 6 and Form 8 pages, and show the total on the home page. To count each visitor at most once a day, we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address until the next day, then delete it. We do not store your internet address, use cookies, or track you across pages.

How we check facts

Each guide lists its sources. Rules and dates can change. Confirm the current requirements on the official website before you apply.

About the translations

We write every page in English. When you choose another language, the page opens through Google Translate, so its text is sent to Google for translation. Machine translation can make mistakes. If something is unclear, switch back to English or check the official website. Google Translate does not support Bodo and Kashmiri yet.
